A Week After CreativeLIVE with Jasmine Star
On Sunday, right after the creativeLIVE course ended I wanted to write a post about it. But to be frank I was overwhelmed with so much information and gratitude towards Jasmine Star and all the creativeLIVE people who made this photography event possible, I could not write a single line. I knew I wanted to say something but I wasn’t sure what “it” was yet. (And to be honest I was also a little busy.) Nonetheless I told myself: Let’s give it about a week and then write a blog post. Well this is what I have to say today…
I am not a wedding photographer. I haven’t shot a wedding in my life. But I am really glad I was watching the 5-day wedding photography course with Jasmine Star at creativeLIVE last week. Why? Because I have realized something I can’t believe I nearly left out from my photography.
I enjoy learning. I like reading photography blogs and books, I really like watching DVDs and I love in-person workshops. I have read, seen and been to quite a lot of sources of knowledge about the technical side of photography. But Jasmine has taught me something far more important.
J* taught me the three magic words: KEEP IT REAL. The best advice a photographer can get? YES!
Thank you Jasmine!
And a question for you fellow photographers, friends, random visitors etc.: Were you watching? What did you take out of the course?
